But in the village that is St Mary Mead, she phones head as the time of day is before `the recognised time to make friendly calls to neighbours’. So, Mrs Bantry sends a car round to pick up Miss Marple up. No one seems to know who this girl is or where she came from. St Mary Mead may appear to be a quiet little village but the Bantry’s are soon to find out that this might not always be the case. But when a real body is found amongst the books, this is something that only Miss Marple can sort out. A library is a place where there is romance, crime, intrigue, suspense and yes, murder – on every one of its shelves. ![]()
